C325 Facility Management of Osbit’s Workshop
The Osbit Ltd workshop at South Harbour Port of Blyth is the primary assembly location for their diverse array of projects. EMS have been fundamental in the setting up and running of the workshop as specified by Osbit and our framework agreement with them. Day to day running is dealt with by a team of EMS employees covering site management, stores, mechanical assembly, cleaning and any other tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the facility. Our responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating work between engineers and EMS fitting staff.
- Ensuring HSE regulations and procedures are being followed.
- Communicate daily activities to all onsite personnel through a toolbox talk.
- Issue work authorisation and permits to contractors.
- Provide site inductions and safety briefings to customer clients.
- Provide and maintain an extensive range of workshop tools, machinery and lifting equipment.
- Manage RAMS for all workshop activities.
- Assist with lifting operations.
- Provide first aid cover.
- Manage goods in/out.
